I Love America Summer Celebration 07/01
This event, held at Wald Park in Vestavia, will be a family event! 6:00 PM- 10:00 PM. There will be swimming, kids soccer game, concerts, and a movie on the lawn. bring your lawn chair and blanket!
Fire on the Water at Oak Mountain 07/03
This event will take place at Oak Mountain State Park on Friday, 07/03. There will be live music starting at 5:00 PM on the beach. Food from Fritos, McAlister’s, Dreamland BBQ, and Publix is available throughout the night. Get there early for a Wake Boarding Demo by Flipside Watersports. The cost is $5 per car to get into the park (starting at 5:00 PM). There will also be a shuttle service if you choose to park at the Oak Mountain Amphitheatre. Cost for parking will be $5. There is no admission to this event after 8PM.
Independence Day at American Village 07/04
This event will provide an authentic 4th of July experience with costumed historian actors, revolutionary army drills, Independence ball, and 18th century games. The cost is $5 per person. Active duty military, veterans, and children 4 and under get in free. American Village will open at 11:00 AM. There will be activities from 12:00 PM until fireworks at 9:00 PM.Thunder on the Mountain
Thunder on the Mountain 07/04
This is the largest firework show in the city choreographed to a patriotic soundtrack. It takes place 07/04 from 9:00-9:30 PM. You can view the fireworks display from Vestavia, 5 Points South, Mountain Brook, UAB, and Homewood. Tune in to 104.7 WZZK, 106.9 The Eagle, Easy 97.3, 98.7 Kiss FM, 95.7 Jamz, 107.3 Birmingham Mountain Radio, 1500 AM Juan and 98.3 FM La Jefa to listen to the show!
Red, White, & Brews at 5 Points South 07/03- 07/04
A grub crawl will take place on Friday,07/03 where participants will be taken to seven different bars and eateries from 6pm-midnight. There will be $4 Good people brews, food specials, live music, and giveaways. The next day, visit 5 points for food and drinks and to get your spot for viewing Thunder on the Mountain.
Freedom Fest at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium 07/04
This fun filled July 4th evening will start at 5:00 PM with a car show. There will be inflatables, food vendors, and live music throughout the evening. Fireworks will start at 9:00 PM. This is a free event.
Uab Fourth of July Concert 07/04
The UAB band will be playing at Bartow Arena the night of the 4th. This event starts at 7:30 PM and will be an hour of free music before the firework display of “Thunder on the Mountain. Bring lawn chairs and blankets.
Going to be at the Lake?
Boat Parade from Kowaliga Marina to Children’s Harbor. Awards are given to the most decorated boats in different categories.
The 4th of July Blast will take place at Lake Martin Ampitheatre from 4:30 to 10:30. There will be live bands and fireworks at 9:00 PM. Tickets are $15. Children 6 and under get in free.

Independence Day Fireworks will start at 9:00 PM from the Pell City Sports Complex.
Tuscaloosa Celebration on the River
This event starts at 6 PM at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheatre. The Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra will perform. Tickets are $5. $10 for a family 4 pack.
